Petrik Runst, Ph.D. Economics
Petrik Runst is an economist and public policy consultant. Among others, he has published original research in Small Business Economics, Energy Economics and Energy Policy. He has also given advice to German federal and state agencies concerning questions of regulation, the introduction of carbon taxes, and other matters.
Petrik received his Ph.D. from George Mason University and worked at St. Lawrence University and the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, after which he became home sick and went back to Germany. Petrik currently works as a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Small Business Economics at the University of Göttingen. He is is also a member of the DFG Network: The Dynamics of Innovation Systems.
